Therapy for Individuals, Couples, Families,
Parenting, Trauma, Addictions, and more
Thank you for visiting my page! I have been practicing psychotherapy for 18 years with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. I work with adults and adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and groups. I want to do something meaningful in my career; being a part of a process that helps people change their lives for the better is incredibly fulfilling.
I am passionate about helping people and relationships overcome, heal, and succeed. In therapy, clients uncover their true selves, overcome significant obstacles, and live meaningful lives, consistent with their values and goals. I help families navigate difficulties including parenting issues, addictions issues, and transitions. I help couples deal with infidelity, infertility, communications problems, conflict, stagnation, and getting beyond divorce. I tailor therapy, using the most effective approach to fit the individual and/or circumstances. I can help you develop tools for handling situations, emotions, and relationships. I believe in helping people live a balanced life mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. The result? Greater clarity, serenity, joy, and purpose, establishing a better relationship with self and others.
I offer a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment for your personal growth and healing. Many clients have several issues, so bring all of your issues here to seek a fulfilled life. I help people overcome anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating disorders, chemical and sexual addictions, trauma and relationship difficulties, among other issues. When making beneficial changes in yourself or your situation, sometimes people feel worse before feeling better. Change is challenging. Facing difficult issues can bring up many emotions. Nonetheless, this process paves the way to the benefits of positive change.
I am in the process of getting credentialed on several insurance panels as well as accepting self-pay clients. I am in network with Magellan, which is a general insurance system and with Humana-Tristar, which is primarily for active duty military personnel. For clients with other types of insurance, I can help file out-of-network benefits. I have flexible office hours including some evenings and weekends.
If therapy could help you find what you’re looking for, don’t you owe it to yourself to try it? You’re worth it! Call 615-298-2329 for a consultation; I do not charge for brief consultations. I would value the opportunity to help you get the most out of your life!
